Mobian Mayhem Guides
Every how-to for the public playtest, from first M1 to awakening cutscenes.
This hub is the table of contents for every practical how-to on the wiki. If you just installed Roblox and searched “how to play Mobian Mayhem,” start on getting started, then print the controls table on a second monitor. Combat pages sit underneath: wall combos, boost and rails, Sonic combos, the Shadow guide, and awakening.
The game is a 16-player battlegrounds fighter from We are the Mobians. It is still a public playtest on a rework countdown, which means a guide written from a March clip can already be wrong about a finisher. We date routes against the spring 2026 patches (boost clash, rails, Sonic Flare finisher, Shadow time-stop conversion).
What to read in your first hour
- Getting started — join the lobby, pick a kit, survive the first stock.
- Controls — M1, dash, block, shift lock, emote wheel, console mapping.
- Wall combo — four M1s plus a front dash. This is the skill that separates mashers from players.
- Boost and rails — hold run, clash head-on, jump on the rail.
- One kit lab — either Sonic combos or the Shadow guide. Super last: awakening.
Then peek at the character rankings so you know why the lobby is 70% Sonic. Codes and scripts can wait; the codes hub is empty and the scripts hub is empty on purpose.
How these guides are built
Each combat page uses one real YouTube showcase in the middle of the article, not a pile of recs at the bottom. We do not invent video IDs. If two creators covered the same Sonic Flare confirm, we keep one page. If a video is a sixty-second teaser with no routing, it does not get a guide.
Move names follow what players actually shout in Discord: Freestyle Flurry, Sonic Flare, Blue Blur, Light Speed Barrage, Speed Perfected, Chaos Control / Time Control, Spear Combo, Ultimate Being, Chaotic Burst. Official tooltips may differ after the rework; we will rename then, not now.
Pain points we try to kill
- “How do I wall combo?” — answered with the official description plus timing notes.
- “How do I play Sonic / Shadow?” — separate labs, because the kits do not share specials.
- “How do I get awakening?” — fill the meter by hitting people, then decide between the grounded awakening and the jump variant.
- “How do I stop teamers?” — Shadow’s anti-team tool, plus not standing in a trio’s pocket. Not a script.
- “How do I clash?” — hold run until boost procs, meet another booster head-on.
- “How do I grind rails?” — jump onto the rail. It is that literal, and people still miss it.
Platform notes live on the controls page. PC, mobile, and console are all supported. If a hold-space variant is awkward on a phone, we say so instead of pretending every lab route is thumb-friendly.
After the how-tos
When you can land a wall combo without looking at this hub, move to roster pages: players, Sonic, Shadow, upcoming. Patch context sits under updates and playtest history. Socials and the Roblox link sit under links.
If a new kit ships with the rework, this hub gains a new how-to instead of stuffing Knuckles into the Sonic page. Until then, read the list in order, then go get hit by a Freestyle Flurry finisher until the timing sticks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which guide should I open first?
Getting started, then controls, then wall combos and boost and rails. Super last, after one kit lab.
Do I need codes before I learn combos?
No. There are no public codes right now, and combos do not require cosmetics.
Are these routes for the rework or the playtest?
Playtest / Rework Countdown. We will rewrite when the overhaul ships.
Why is there only one video per guide?
The wiki keeps a single mid-article embed so pages stay readable on mobile.
