How to Redeem Mobian Mayhem Codes

Redeeming a Mobian Mayhem code is a thirty-second job once the UI exists. During the current rework countdown many players report no Codes button at all, which matches an empty codes list. Still learn the flow now so you are not fumbling in a 16-player lobby when the first string goes live.

Codes are case-sensitive. Copy them from this wiki instead of typing from a livestream overlay. If a code includes punctuation, include it. If it does not, do not add spaces.

Before you open the menu

1. Join the experience from the official Roblox page. VIP servers are not required.
2. Finish the spawn animation so your kit — Sonic or Shadow — is actually loaded.
3. Turn off emote wheel spam (B / D-pad Right). The wheel can sit on top of a small Codes field on mobile.
4. Have the code copied. Roblox mobile paste is flaky if you switch apps mid-match.

You do not need to win a round first. Battlegrounds titles usually let you redeem from the lobby or pause menu.

PC steps

1. Press the in-game menu / settings icon, not the Roblox escape menu.
2. Look for Codes, Twitter, Gifts, or a ticket icon. Playtest UIs shuffle these labels.
3. Click the text box, paste, and confirm with Redeem or Enter.
4. Wait for a toast. Success messages are easy to miss during a clash.
5. Check titles, emotes, and any currency. If nothing changed, the code is expired or mistyped — see the codes hub.

Shift lock (Left Shift) does not block the menu, but a held M1 chain can. Let the four-hit string finish before you click.

Mobile steps

1. Open the hamburger or gear on the right side of the HUD.
2. If the Codes field is off-screen, rotate to landscape. Several battlegrounds ports hide the box in portrait.
3. Long-press to paste. Do not tap Redeem until the full string is visible.
4. If paste fails, type it. Watch auto-correct — “mayhem” becoming “May Ham” will fail.

Console players (Xbox / PlayStation) should open the same settings pane with the menu button, select the field, and use the on-screen keyboard. There is no separate console-only code list.

A failed redeem does not wipe your kit. You will still have Speed Perfected or Ultimate Being and can go practice a wall combo.

After a successful redeem

Equip the reward before you queue. Titles that only show in the lobby are easy to forget. Emotes bind to the wheel; open it once so the new slot is not buried. If the reward is a skin, confirm it sits on the kit you actually play — Sonic mains should not assume a Shadow-only cosmetic applies to both.

Then leave the menu. The playtest is a fighter, not a shop. Use the extra emote as a mental reset between stocks and go back to controls or getting started if you still drop combos after four M1s.
